Hey all,
I recently put a 60 gallon aux. fuel tank on and first time that I have filled it up along with the tank. Fill main first, then aux. Everything fine for a couple hundred miles, gas gauge stays on full. Then all of a sudden gauge goes to full empty with light on. DIC shows 000 range. The low fuel chime does not come on and low fuel message does not appear. This happened two days ago, took it to Chevy and they said they had to clear a "performance code for the fuel sender". They didn't even write an R.O. up. Had the truck for 4 hours. I am on the road now and it happens again.WTF. This is a gravity fed tank. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Davey:help:
