I cranked up this morning as usual and shifted to reverse...Ding Ding Ding??WTF? Rear door open on my DIC. Got out opened it and closed it-problem fixed. Later on while driving down the road...ding, ding ding. It did it another 10 times before my visit to the dealer. Come to find out GM has had 3 others with this problem and said to replace the latch. Off came the door panels and so far its ok.


It's pretty surprising to be driving down the road and have all of your interior lights come on like someone opened the door!

Mine did it for 1 day a couple of weeks ago on the rear left door. Got in and took it to the dealer the next morning and it did not do it on the way there and hasn't done it since. Didn't even bother asking them to check it out, just document the intermittent problem. Oh well! Maybe it won't do it again.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif
