I just purchased a 03 D/A. I was wondering that if something happened to the engine, such as the fuel line leaking filling the crank case with fuel or whatever would constitute a new engine would the replacement be a lb7 or a lly? Also if this happens after the warranty expires can I purchase a lly to replace it and it just be a drop in type deal?

Would be an LB7. Too many changes on the LLY. It wouldn't be very easy to drop in an LLY.
