Can anyone spoon feed me here? Do I need to climb under the rig to get to it? Can it be replaced from the top? Will I need to take other parts off to replace it?
Thanks for any help.

U gotta go down under, mate. Its loacted on timing cover, one bolt removes the tab that secures it and then cross ur fingers that it is not swollen in the hole that it fits into. Sometimes they get stuck in there and make for a nice headache. Good luck and let us know the outcome.

You should be able to get at it by getting a good light pointed behind the power steering pump. There's a 13mm bolt holding it in. Once you take the bolt out, you should be able to pry GENTLY between the timing cover and the metal tab that the bolt went through to rotate it a bit, and break it loose. Then it should come out without too much drama.

Why would you need to replace it, what are the symptoms?

Threw a 19 code-Crankshaft position sensor
Rig dies above 1500-2000rpms once it's warmed up.
Figure this is a cheap start in hopes that it's not the IP/PMD.

Well great. I gentle tried to shimmy the damned thing out and the metal plate cracked at its base and came off. The plug itself moves a little, but wont come out. I'm trying to get vice grips up there, but it's tight.
Any ideas?
