what do i have to mix with jet fuel (JP-8) to run in my truck some 2 stroke oil or something. should i just mix it half and half with diesel?

Mixing it with BIO would be best for the lubricity.

gallon 2 stroke oil + half gallon of marvel mystery oil for every 33 gallons i think it was.... but if you are getting it for free...go get a 55 gallon drum of bio and mix it like 50/50....my bro was running 50/50 jet A/#2 in my moms diesel jetta and worked great

you dont need anything. im in the airforce and we run straight jp 8 in our diesels all the time. they tend to run better.

Long story....Literally....However, I never get my .02 in with the Dave topics....I never will either....

The US Amry did run this in all of their vehicles, piston and turbine. When I was in, the general consensus was that it was a cleaner fuel, but required that the filters to be changed prior to first fill. I don't recall why, though. I do remember that every type of vehicle that operated it, ran hotter. I don't have any quantative numbers for you, sorry.

Qualitatively, though, less smoke, a little more pep, and occasionaly the smoke generators on the Abrams turned into flame throwers. That was really cool, a 62 ton beast with an afterburner.

the generators run ALOT better with jp8. if the airforce ever switched to #2 for most of thier powered ground equip, half the planes wouldnt fly! when we are deployed and have to use #2 the things just run like garbage.
