Does the Duramax LB7 have glow plug? If so, is a positive or negative glow plug? Thanks.

Yes it's got glow plugs AND an intake heater. The intake heater looks just like a new style home heating furnace gas igniter.

I don't know the polarity. Since only one connection is made I would assume it positive and the engine is the ground.

Iam installing a Bulldog Security remote starter, one that I had on a previous gasser. In the installation book, it has 2 different glow plug wires, one is + the other is -? So i guess I can assume that they are positive? Thanks.

I suggest you post in the accessories forum about security systems and glow plugs. Someone had to have run into tgis before.Edited by: hoot

You hook that wire to the blue wire behing the instrument cluster that tests negative when the glow plug light is on. Test with a DMM NOT a test light!
