Washing the truck yesterday (the wife thinks I am crazy as it was 30 degrees outside...) but anyways, I notice some RUST http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Dead.gif spots on the inside edge of the front bumper. The steel on the bumper "returns" into the wheel well for about 1/2". On that 1/2" lip, it looks like some gravel may have chipped a peice of the chrome from the finish and it has started to rust. Two very small chips around 1/16" dia each. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Angry.gif
I know how to touch up the body, but what do you do about chrome? I think that after I get it fixed (whatever that will take), I will look for something to protect it as it is prone to have gravel/road debris thrown around in that area. Suggestions?Edited by: BKG-22
