GM PartsDirect site shows two different #'s - 12562836 and 25117340 - listed as replacements for my 96 pickup. Why two #'s? Which is the "right" one if there's a difference?

best thing to do is call the dealer and give them your vin. They'll be able to tell you which one you need.
