Can someone 'splain the performance advantage that dual front shocks, on a 6" lift ,have over a single say Bilsteins shock. 1) On pavement 2) off-road in a non-bashing/racing mode. Or is it just cause it looks cool? Just askin.....;)

Hey there! The duels are used off road to prevent the fade you can get off road with heavy and fast use "racing type applications" and heavy vehicles when you can't get a proper valved single shock. Now there is a lot of shock manufacturers that make shocks w/resevoirs to lessen fade too. If you are getting the RCD we were talking about the Bilstien shocks that come with it are valved for our trucks and work great. Duels are gonna give you a firmer ride and mostly just used for the bling factor. There are drawbacks to mounting them on the upper a-arm like they do, not the best place to mount shocks. When are you doing your lift. I want to see pics when you're done!!
