I can understand vendors having secrets because their livelihood is at stake, but not the rest of us. If I could do something that would help others get quicker, that would be a good thing, not bad. Like any of us are making money racing our trucks. I do it for fun, and wrenching and helping other is all part of the fun.


I never knew something as simple as a lift pump could be so classified.

100,00 gph at a steady 8psi at the test port. Just use a longer hose for drag racing(to reduce the weight of the trailor).

Do not have any photo's but I am running a FM 100 stanadyne with a filter-water seperator and filter is 5 micron. Press is set at 1 lb at the pump on the engine at idle and falls to 1/4 lb at 3000 rpm. Pump is mounted as close to tank as I could get it and is turned on with a oil pressure switch. I also put a push button switch under hood to prime filters with after changing them. I regulate pressure with a needle valve back to suction side of pump. Hope this helps

Eric, I did get it resolved as far as I know, its running good now. Changed the fuel filter! I am still planning on adding a lift pump, I think it well help out some. Thanks geno.
