I was playing around on Buypower building a 2004 Chevy my way and WOW lot of interesting stuff there.


First off they are no longer providing the winter front for free, it's now a $55 Option!


There is a $1000 discount on the HD power package LLY/Allison/G80.


They still show the LB7 available for $5100 and the LLY is $5300. I suppose that is old data and the LB7 is now finished as far as new production is concerned.


Here's one for Hoot and 1fatcat.......an option for alternate fuel is available for $855 engine ready for propane or??? So much for Hoot having warranty problems, but suppose technically it's an 04 option only.


Ride control is available with cabin controlled shock settings etc. $295


Quadasteer is also available, hard bed covers, retractible bed covers, step bars all that aftermarket stuff can now be ordered from the factory (some of it is shipped with the truck for dealer install, some pasts are shipped by vin # to be installed by the dealer).


I found it very interesting I can build an '04 with everything and more than I have on my '01, get the 4 dr. crew cab vs my EXT cab now and the sticker is only $3500 more than the sticker was on my '01.


It's kind of fun building the truck you always wanted, then when you see the total cost, you have to go back and delete a few things LOL ha ha ha


Anyway, maybe you all have done this recently and this is old news, but thought I would post it in case you have not played with buypower in a while.
