The main thing I am wanting to do is fill the wheel wells better. How close is clearance if I don't raise the torsion bars at all?

It's not the wheels it's the tires. I have 33" dia and have to raise about 5 turns on the adjusters = 1-2"

Think the H2 tires are 315/70-17 which makes them about 34.5". I went with 6" lift and 315/75-16 tires and still had to do a little trimming.

Do alot of cutting, and you won't have to lift. These pictures are actually 1" lower than stock front, and 2" lower rear.

Haven't washed it since October, but it will look much better when spring comes.

Drop the tire size to 285/70-17 and it will only need a little tb lift.

Amric, did you lower the truck? What size are your tires?

They are 315/75R17 or 35" by 12.5". The truck is dropped 1" in front and 2" in the rear. Rides and handles great. No rubbing.

I must be one hell of a lot harder on my truck then most of you here.

I have yet too put my Hummer (summer) wheels on, But with 2-2.5" of lift in the front and 2+ in the rear, running stock wheels and 285/75/16 BFG A/T They rub several times a week. Not on the highway, but in my driveway, and off road.

It's a small world. I was suprised to find there were a few Michigan Jeepers here.

My wife totaled her car, so I had to give her the WJ. She just takes it back and forth to work, so I took the lift off to lower the COG. I got the 2500HD to tow my Wrangler. When I hit the dirt, its always in a Jeep. I'm sure if I took the 2500HD off-road, it would rub, but on dirt roads or our Michigan pot hole filled roads, it works great.
