Since the other post ( http://dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51116 ) kind of got off topic about communications with the modules in the new trucks, I played around a little today
Body and chassis does not require the CANdi module for communication (btw if anyone dosnt know, 285/75/16 and other size tires are there to recalibrate the abs)
The PCM and TCM both require the CANdi module to communicate.
You can not request info for downloading without the CANdi module either.
So should be interesting to see what happens with aftermarket programmers now and the cost of them. Hopefully nothing to unreasonable.
