chevmeister 02-13-2004, 10:22 PM I need new door speakers.... dont ask.... what brands are people running. What size fits where? 6.5 front and 6.5 rear? Gonna be pushing them with bout 85w each. got subs already and want to do it cheap. Most of the parts are sitting in the garage. was thinking mb quartz RCE 216 6.5". Any comments? Kevin Jon S 02-14-2004, 07:17 AM I have the MB Quart RCE 216 6.5's in the front doors driven by a Rockford Fosgate 351S (90 watts x 2). My head unit is an Eclipse CD5423. No rear fill. No sub. Simple set up with good clean sound. MUCH better than the base (not Bose) factory system. I'm running the built-in high-pass crossover at 50 hz, as this seems to tighten up the lower frequencies. I like the sound, and am satisfied with the bass, but I'm sure a good sub would really round out the bottom end. Good Luck.
