Anyone know why the GMC base price for a 3500 LT3 4x4 Crew Cab Dually is $360 more than a Chevrolet? The GMC lists for $42,155 before options and the Chevy is $41,795.
Is there something on the GMC that doesn't come on the Chevy or is this just extra profit for GM?
Also, are the seats on a LT3 equipped truck 6 way power driver side only or are they 10 way driver and passenger? Are they heated?

Look at the window sticker & compare the 2. You should be abe to see where they differ. If your "BABY" is Leather, it should be Heated & both seats should be power, I belive. Howard

Juice, I knew we agreed on something....Like I said in a similar post about a week ago:
Any poor old dirt farmer can drive a Chevrolet; It takes a man of honor and distinction, to drive a GMC.
Period.

If I wanted the Crapalan... oops... avalanche look... I would have bought one of those!
The Jack'O'Lantern front end is a really tough one for me to get used to i guess.
All things being equal it is still Fuglier than the new Dodge look. I didn't think it was possible to be more 'different' than a Dodge 3 years running!
It amazes how one can get 10 times the truck for only $300-400 more. Once you research the data you will realize that only the "dumbies" buy chebys.

i was playing around with the build your own parts of chevy and gmc sites and i thought i built the same exact trucks but they came out thousands of dollers different with gmc being on the top end did i hit something or are the options higher even after the 400 differance in the base truck. i really like gmc better but would not pay that much more for one a couple of hundred or a thousand but not the several i came up with
Robert,
The options should be the same, did you miss something big such as 4x4, cab style, LT vs SLT package?
