Will the different programmers (hypertech, superchip) change your tire size on a duramax up to a 315 (35") tire? I've been told that it won't allow anymore more than what the dealership can do. The dealer says that they have adjusted it as far as they can, however speed is still off.
If the programmers do correct this can I use one of the programmers for just changing the tire size and use the edge juice for the performance part? I understand the edge is a lot safer to use, but doesn't change the speed. Just would like to know if you can stack the two togeather.
Is the edge juice the best programmer on the market? I have been told it makes power without increasing the fuel pressure to dangerous levels like all the others supposably do.

Yes, the "plug-ins" will change the tire size and correct the speedo.
Yes, the programmer can be used for just tires size...and if you like, top speed changes. They will stack with the JUICE.
Edge the best..... lots here think so, as well as myself.
I would call Kennedy Diesel (http://kennedydiesel.com) and speak to John. He'll tell ya what you need and not what you don't. You'er asking simple questions, that means you need service not "cheap" stuff.....There again, I'd say call John.

So you are saying that with the Edge Juice you can change your tire size? If I get the juice I was also planning on the attitude moniter. Just got the truck last week and can't get enough good info about it.
Also wondering if I should wait till it has more miles on it before I go upping the horsepower. It only has 1000 miles on it.

No, read what I wrote. I said the programmer will stack "with" the Edge.
----> Programmer = speed and tires
----> Juice = Everything else
let the thing break-in for at least 10k miles and change the oil often. Remeber, the rear dope will need a flush soon......
Just read your sig..... if you really own that thing.... just plug in whaever you want and hammer the living ceiot out of it.

I plan on keeping my truck for a long while so I would like to get some performance gains without tearing the crap out of it, as you probably know it wasn't a cheap truck.

The juice w/attitude monitor will allow you to change tire size, but the corrected speed will only be displayed on the attitude monitor and not the truck's speedo.

There is alot of info on this site in members posts on tuners and plug in play boxes ....
Superchips and Hyperchips hasn't had much representation .... I'm sure they work but have no hands on experience ....
You can find a programmer ,as you mentioned and zero performance but defeat speed'o and change tire size and add performance with a plug and play box such as Edge Juice ... Best to call and talk to the company you chose to confirm your tire size change prior to purchase ...
Edge does have a in the cab controller called the Attitude that will change tire size also ,again not sure on your size ...
Quadzilla programmar also will do both no need to stack along with the Predator ....
Just remember you can stack Plug and play and a programmer not two programmers for power enhancements ... Stay with'in the capabilities of the Allison ,90 HP over stock,or damage can occur ...
I hope that stays true with a 04 LLY or you guys will be known as slow pokes ... http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Embarrased.gif
Good luck
