I don't know jack about transmissions, but need an answer to my question: with an existing 4L80E-MT1 can you retrofit it with a Power Take-Off (PTO)?

No, it doesn't have any place to put it. However, if it is a 4WD, the transfer case may have a place for it. My '91 has a 4L80 w/NP205, it has a place for it.
