Hey guys, long time watcher, only a couple of posts. I am looking at possibly pulling the trigger on an o3 w/ 30grand on her.

my friend is a used car manager, and has to rotate his inventory every 90 days. this 03 is 80 days up, and he will hoave to wholesale it, to which he is willilng to sell it to me at wholesale

ok here is the question. Was the allison the ONLY auto tranny offered on the 03's, or was there another one????

Thanks in Advance:help: :help: :help:

I think the Allison is the only avalible automatic tranny if you get the 8.1 in a Heavy Duty truck. However if you get the 8.1 in a 2500 Light Duty truck, such as a 2500 Suburban or 2500 Avalanche, than you get the 4L85-E
