Its a 6.2L with a 400 tranny and is leaking badly. I seen a drip on driver side leaf spring and looked at the pan and its covered in drips and its gripping off the bottom of pan just sitting. I looked for where its comming from and no luck its like its absorbing through the pan. Anyone have any suggestions?

did you check the lines running to the radiator. If not see if it is coming from the pump which is on the tranny side of the converter. You might have to take off the tc cover first to check that.

Find a transmission shop and have it looked at.

Theres no tranny shops around here, well there is one. If you take anything to this guy its Oh it needs a rebuild I can do it for $1400. My dad has a buick lesabre with 15,000 miles and this guy said it needed a rubuild and my dad always falls for it. The oldsmobile my dad had him "rebuild" when 60,000 and he said it will make over 100,000 easily with the quality parts I give you. Id like to give him a quality kick in the A%#.

Most comon leaks on the TH400 are; electric kickdown connecter above left side of pan, linkage seal which is right in front of it same side, governor cover gasket which is right side of trans towards rear ( has 4 bolts holding cover.). Check your cooler lines ( right side of trans all the way to radiator),

If the performance is fine and the fluid isn't burnt, take some brake cleaner and spray it off good..
Get it clean, THEN look for the leak. It could be as simple as a pan gasket or a dipstick seal. You don't need a transmission shop for that.
