hey im new here, i have a 1997 chev 1500 ext cab short box silverado with the 6.5, i removed the converter and bybassed the egr, and put a 3" exhaust with a high glow muffler,

the truck was my grandfathers until he passed away, and has had the oil changed every 4000 miles

how many miles can these engines go if they are well maintained?

we have a 94 K2500 that just got new heads at 130 000miles

this 1997 has 110 000 miles on it

any high mileage 6.5s on here?

There are quite a few on here with over 200,000 on them. Even one guy shooting for 400,000 with mods. It is all in how yu take care of them and treat them, and some luck. As with any engine you can have a good one or a bad one. Only time will tell.
