This was the response I got from tech support:
We are planning on making a product for the 2006 LLY and the 2006 LBZ. We would like to make one for both motors but are not sure at this point. We probably won't be coming out with a product for the 2006 until next year. If you have any other questions then just let us know.

Two things worry me about this. First, they are not saying when it will be out other than 'next year'. So it could be January, it could be June. Second, he asctually leaves the door open that they may not do an LBZ tuner at all for the '06. That would REALLY suck. I was planning on the J/A for my LBZ from the start. Maybe I will have to consider other options.

Nevermind...I followed up with him and got this clarification:
We are planning on making a module for both motors. The 2006 LLY is more of a product that may not have one. For the 2006 LBZ we are making a product. We just have to see what the differences are between the 2006 LLY and the 2006 LBZ to see if we need to make 2 products or just one. Sorry for the confusion.

it makes more sense to not make one for the 06 LLY and go ahead with making one for the LBZ.. that tweaner motor won't have much in the way of programmers I'm affraid.

I talked to Banks(ya I know, spare me)approx a month ago when I bought my 06 LLY and they said it would be 45-60 days and that the electronics for both the LLY and the LBZ are the same so there will only be one tuner for both motors.

Ditto on what 577 said, I heard from another performance co that the 06 LLY and LBZ's have the same electronics just different programs in them. Don't know if the blocks are the same though.

I emailed edge after I got my truck and they said they had some stuff in development. They planned on having something out by early 06, and they believed that 1 box would work on both engines but couldn't gaurantee.

I heard that Banks will have the most powerful tuner available for the LBZ.

Wonder how they know this since nothings out yet.

Boy it didn't take em long to blow that deception horn. Gets them quick sales from the Blind,Dumb,Uninformed,Burger flippin etc. etc. public before they've had a chance to realize they've been reemed. Once they got you on the hook don't forget you will have to purchase all the other Banks goodies to make all this highest HP come together. -:tFrankly you would be better off going out and getting a hemroid operation. You will feel the same afterwards, your truck will be just as fast and you will have more money in your pocket.

What's the matter with you guys? I love Banks and his load of overpriced and under powered products!

For instance, if Banks has 25% of the D-max tuner market that means that my truck will beat at lest 25% of modded D-max's.

They could leave levels 2-5 for gaining 25% of the total original output of the Six-Gun, instead of levels 2-6 gaining 20% on each step, then leave level 6 for extremely aggressive tuning for all out racing purposes. But like I stated before, about 99% of Duramax/Cummins/Powerstroke owners aren't going to mod their trannies, and I believe this stock truck market is what they're after. JMO.

I emailed Edge again today. They said they most likely will not start beta testing until close to spring time. So, we have a while to wait still....

Maybe..........but they shouldn't make their "highest proven hp" claims then.
