Thinking about putting a new accessory on my truck as in a Vanity Plate from DMV.


But I'm still trying to think of a good one that would fit either a Dually or Duramax or Diesel in general or any other witty ones.


Any one got any good ideas for a vanity plate?

They cost $81.00 for a Regular background and $135.00 for a special background like Long Island Sound background or keep kids safe and so on. The regular background is good enough for me.


But we can only have a max of 6 charcters, letters or numbers or a combo of either one but numbers then letters or letters then numbers only no going back and forth like LUV2SPD


Dosent leave too many options for good sayings.

Here in NY we are allowed 8 characters. I own a big dooley so I went with "SIZMATRZ" ie: size matters. for those who couldnt figure it out! Also was considering "DZLPWRD" diesel powered. There are also alot of nosy people in my town, so I was also contemplating "M9URBZNZ" Mind Your Business. Truck I owned previously was lifted pretty high and I had "HIIMPACT" on that one.

Do you think Hoot has his duramax plates on his Dodge?

A couple of years back my son and I built a 500+ HP 55 Chevy show car. Every time we took it out before finishing it people would say "light em up". So naturally upon completion we named it:


"Litemup"


Our truck was "Pullmup"


And our trailer was "Haulmup"


Kinda corney but it worked for us.

Most prefer the cardboard version taped in the rear window! I've had this one for 21 years or so. Has led to a few interesting conversations back when you had to give your tag number while getting gas, checking into hotel rooms. It even led to a notice of unpaid parking tickets in a city I had never visited. The city clerk did think it was odd my tag had been on more than 10 different vehicles.
