My dad's truck needs new rotors and pads in front. Any guidance or precautions? Should be a simple straightforward job, right?

Thanks. Brian.

2500 or 3500? 2 or 4 wheel drive? If it is a 2500 4X4 then it is a real easy job. Even a 2500 2 wheel drive ain't bad. The 3500's take a little more to get the rotor seperated.

Ferm,

Thanks for the reply. It is a 2500 2WD truck.

Brian.

That one should be pretty easy, just the rotors are a little pricy I believe though.

Well, just be sure that this doesn't happen:

USMC,

That's funny and the kind of thing I'm trying to avoid.

Anyone,

What is the spindle nut size? I was told that this is a sealed bearing and apparently it is not. Does anyone know of a procedure written somewhere?

Thanks. Brian.

Does anyone know what the spindle nut size is and if it can be reused?

Thanks. Brian.
