My dad installed his Hypertech on his Dmax a month ago. Everythings been fine until today. The wipers would occasionaly stop mid wipe. More or less chatter. I know there were issues with the Juice about these problems but has anyone heard anything about the HPP?

When I put the truck back to its stock parameters everything was fine. Installed it again just to see and sure enough the problem is back. Any ideas?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

My wipers went into slow motion while driving in heavy snow last weekend. I turned off the brights and heater. I waited a few and it was back to normal.

I have the all lights on mod. I think maybe I drained the batteries???

I'd call HyperTech and visit with them. I've called them a couple of times and found them very helpful.

Well, I thought of something. What if I took the Hypertech and installed it in my truck? So I go ahead and do it. No problems with my wipers. Cool. I'll head out for a ride and lay a few patches of rubberhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif. After a bit of playing I head back home and decide to hit the wipers and lo and behold my wipers go outta whack. I pull over and put the truck back to the stock setting. Everything back to normal. I called Hypertech and they said that this was the first time they hear of a problem like this. Your problem with the wipers would have showed up right away after you installed the program they say. I just don't get it. Two different trucks and both had the same problems with the programmer. Was told to wait a month without using the Hypertech and see if the problems come back. I just want to send it back and get a new one.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif

Many ECM uploaders have "side-effects". The ECM controls quite a bit of the vehicles electric system.

When I used LS1Edit (uploader for gas motors), it turned off the dash lights and the tachometer. It freaked me out.

Try this: Reset the ECM with the HyperTech program uploaded. To reset the ECM, you can usually disconnect the battery for 10 mins, or pull the ECM fuses and turn on the ignition for 10 minutes. I don't know the correct procedure for Dura's. This often fixes "side-effects".
