Truck went into the shop today. Having issues with A/C, radio, seats, trans and other things. Suppose to have it for about a week. This should be interesting.. Maybe they can get it all fixed so it does not have to go back.. At least I waited this long until I had a nice list of about 15 items that needed attention... I will miss my truck..

What was going on with your radio? Are the seats changing their position on you, like your wife was drving the truck?

I needed to get my hydroboost line changed, lucky that happened just before my 36K came up.

I am sure the dealer will let you visit with your truck.):h

The radio was not coming on from time to time, no sound... The seats, well they were where I left them sometimes and other times they would move like the truck had a mind of its own.. As for the loaner car, I have a BMW to drive as well...No death trap for me...

It seems like my seats move on me too sometimes. Just a little bit, but enough to notice that it's not like it was set. It may be the humor of the GM engineers.

They are going to tear it apart and then get back to me. I have some parts hanging around waiting...

Since they will have it out anyways have them do a transgo minimum.

As far as the seats go, are you sure you did not bump them by chance? I have bumped the seat controls getting in or moving things or what ever and did not know it until I went to drive it.
Are there items in you door compartments that may be bumping them also?

They have a re-flash for the seats, the dealer knew about this problem. Go talk to them it just took a few minutes.

I know, I am just letting them take care of the warranty stuff as needed and then I will go from there. Transmission may have to wait. I hear there are some new developments on the horizon...

There are always new developments on the horizon.
You can't wait for the next best thing, or you'll always be waiting. I know how you feel though, I got caught up in it as well before I did my trans. I'm glad I just went ahead and did it, now. Just think of all the fun you are missing out on.

Also, since you live in Texas, you can still have fun with yours all winter.:D

I know, Texas never has winter.. Although we did get some (just a little, enough to cover the ground) snow and everyone around here freaked out. H3ll I even took pics..LOL

I heard that and waited a year and a half to do mine, 2 months later TTS came out with the Triple TC.......

My SC Triple does just fine........waiting for the latest and greatest will always be a wait, because they will never stop improving these trannies or trucks.

Bite the bullet and get it done..........

Ya I know... I see no need to get in a hurry. This is like an impulse item to me. Do I really need it, no... I can run a bone stock truck, now for how long, that is the question.. Eventually I will have to do something one way or the other....But nice to know I can wait if I have to.. Besides, I am not made of hundred dollar bills..):h

What a waste to go to all the time and trouble to pull the trans and not beef it up while you are in there. Why not buy a SCIII kit and ask them to install it for you? Zero labour and lots of good shops won't argue as long as you agree to no more warranty on the trans.

Well that is an option at this point. I have to wait till tomorrow to see what kind of damage is done. The service writer I talked to today said that they might be willing depending on what was involved. So tomorrow will be another story..

I'm with Max, that sounds better than paying full cost down the line. You know you want to.

I would have had that worked out with them before they went in ;) You knew it was toast anyways. Now you're going to have to wait for a shipment if you decide to go that way.
