optimax 02-09-2004, 07:54 PM HEY guys guess what! I was at the dealer today and had them check my fuel filter after reading some things here. As we came to find out the fuel filter on my LLY is different the the LB7! Totally different part number. Does anyone know if it is a different manafacture or if GM figured out time to make this better like the Cat filters? The word is that the LB7 filter will fit the LLY, but not the other way around since the LLY filter will hit the engine on an LB7. Racor says it's the same filter media, just more of it. Was worried as I'm leaving from NW PA for Florida Feb 27 and don't have a spare LLY fuel filter. easymon4u 02-15-2004, 07:36 PM Napa has the fuel filters for the LB7, about $33.00 -$35.00, In my area anyway.
