is it possible to change the blue boots on the bilsteins?the blue just seems like a sore thumb to me, going to order a set but would rather have black boots on them if i can change them

You should be able to paint them. I believe SEM Makes prep, primer and paint for it...

Ox who is sem? i never thought of painting them,sounds better than replacing them, thanks

SEM is a paint conpany. Check with your local auto body supply store, I'm positive they will know whay it is and point you in the right direction...

Bilstein shocks are also available in a nickel cad plating with black boots. You may be able to order the boots by themself from a 4X4 store that handles Bilstein shocks. I would not paint them at all.
