I have been checking a few web sites regaurding the ultra low sulfer diesel we will all be using by 2006. Currently diesel has about 500 ppm sulfer, 300 in California, but by 2006 it will be at 15 ppm in Canada and the USA.

I know sulfer helps with lubricity, but I wonder if we can trust the oil companies to put in enough additives to compensate. It will no doubt make it more important then ever to buy our diesel from a reliable vendor and to use an additve. Who knows this low sulfer diesel might even be cleaner. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif One thing for sure we can expect the oil companies to be putting the price up. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif
