do all these guys take all there mods off before going to the dealers or are they all voiding there warrentys? I want to take the muffler off and put on stacks. my dealer told me that would void the warrenty. ive got 36000 miles on the truck so engine is the only warrenty ive got left.

exhaust mods generly don't void the warrenty. Find a different dealer. As for boxes and tunners, out of sight, out of mind.

Simple solution, find a new dealer. How ridiculous is it that a dealer will void your entire warranty for changing the exhaust?

Doesn't matter if you're still under the bumper to bumper, it shouldn't void the warranty.

Would only void the warranty on the exhaust, also if what you changed caused a part to fail would cause a voided warranty.

Exhaust shouldn't void a warranty except for the parts you replaced in changing the exhaust. I've noticed that some dealers are real anal about this, and others are sort of laxed on it. I would find another dealer, it sounds like they just want in your wallet.
