Wow!!! It looks so....wierd!! No, but seriously that looks really awesome...just makes you do a double take when you see something go "all the way across" underneath the front of a GM truck.:)

How does it ride? Like a Ford or is it not too bad? Pretty good offroad I assume!

You're just saying that because there are less than 10 guys on here that have sfa duramax trucks...
You never answered my question about the ford axle being 8x170, did you change the hubs for gm ones, or run different wheels in front? Also did you hook your abs wires to the abs sensors on that axle? Looks like a wire hanging by the brake line...

Eh? I was just saying that it's fun to show stuff off if not very many guys have it... I would be doing the same thing if I had SFA'd my truck.
I also wanted answers to my questions I asked in on ORT. I wondered because I didn't know if you could swap the hubs easily and have the right bolt pattern, and if the abs wires would work with GM abs. Since he used an 04 ford axle it would have abs wires and the different 8x170mm bolt pattern rather than our 8x6.5

I've been reasearching this for a while and it appear the best thing to do is get a 78'/79' furd D60 and swap Chevy D60 knuckles, spindles, hubs, ect. If you use a newer furd D60{85-91} your tires will hit your springs.I want to do mine this winter but I don't want to lift it much because it already makes my stock trailer sit an an angle with the t-bars cranked, air bags @ 90psi ,and 33"s.Sure looks cool.D-Maxdan:That's an awsome truck. How do you pull a trailer with it?
