I bought a new remote transmitter for my 95 Sub. and want to program it. I have to ground terminal G at the dlc but I don't see any identification on the terminal port(old eyes?) and I don't see any identification in the GM manual. Anybody know which terminal it is?

Is this the same arrangement for my suburban? It's from a 95 Caddy but it's all i have found so far. It's page 4 of this link:

You need to jumper terminals 4 and 8 together with a paperclip/jumper harness, etc. They are counted left to right, top row first.

A little off topic, but how would you program a 99 Suburban for a new remote?

According to the GM manual you ground terminal G(G being the far left terminal on the bottom row). The doors will lock and unlock. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the original transmitter at the same time and hold them in until the doors lock and unlock. Next use the new transmitter and repeat the pressing of the lock and unlock buttons until the doors lock and unlock. Remove the ground from the dlc terminal G and you're done. I now have both remotes working. I believe you can only have two remotes to a vehicle.

Yes, and terminal 4 is ground.
