this is not for any type of profit. my friend called and asked how many are needed and to ask around. he siad 900+ shipping and that comes with the unit disc and antenna. i would need money in hand ASAP if you are interested. I am not sure how many he can get so it is first come first serve.

What type? Lux vs Non-LUX? Touchscreen vs Non-Touchscreen? New vs Used (vin cleared?)

Makes a big difference in price.

Also, payment by what? Paypal seems to be the best in my opinion.

sorry they are TNR non-lux. all are tested and work and there is no need to go to the dealer because they dont have a vin. mine was plug and play. i am sure i can get the VSS wire with pin if needed

Crap.....non-LUX will not work in my rig. I already did the LUX 6CD upgrade months back. Now looking to go LUX Nav touchscreen w/6 CD seperate unit (which I already have).

i might be able to get that i will ask about it. some guys have been saying that the non lux can be changed to a lux but i dont know anything about that.

Aren't these NAV units coming out of vehicles ruined in a flood?????? If so, the electronics will be shot.

no all of these are from a refurb place that GM contracts to fix them. they fix all GM/ delphi electronics

Let us know when you find a price on the 03+ 6 disc changers. I would think a lot of people might want to order one along with their tnr and have all the pieces they need in one order.

Even if they were from a flood....I think the nav radios would still be OK...the vehicles that got "flooded" I think only had water come up to just above the door sill...think positively, Tom!!!

The amplifiers however....would most likely be shot. However Ive had more than a few instances where electronics got wet and I let them dry out COMPLETELY for a week or so in the sun and they worked again!

I might be interestedin one and in a disk changer. Are these touch screen? Do they play cd's without a changer? how is the quality of sound with aftermarket amps and speaks? I have been collecting JL subs, speaks and amps but still looking for a head unit

yes they are touch screen...as for aftermarket amps i have no idea. it does play a CD but you can not have the map and a cd at the same time

Maybe you have addressed this already but, I do not have Bose sound in my 06 Silverado but have XM and onstar and single disk player. Will these work? and what disk version does this come with?

you need to have bose or add the amp. the disk is 1.0 but i am sure some nice guys on here might have some newer ones that they might be able to give out

Brian, All I need to do is get the dealer to change the VIN correct (my truck is a non-lux right now)? Then when I get the Lux amp, I can have the radio changed with the tech2 correct?

no need to go to the dealer at all. there is no vin in it. it would be like mine plug it in and go. i dont know anything about the Lux and non lux differences. some say it can be some say it cant. i have another person asking right now so it is first come first serve

I have the non bose sytem in my truck. Its a 2004 ext. cab with cd and cassette. Do I have to add a Bose amp or will any amp do? Will the radio play while using Nav? What is the model #?

yes the radio plays while the NAV is working...it is the lastest model i dont know it off the top of my head. yes you have to had all the bose stuff if you want to use it

One more question. I don't have XM either. I actually have a seperate Siruis unit in my truck. What would it take to get XM or Sirius to run thru that head unit?

i am going to be using either a kenwood or alpine sirius unit + the sound gate adpater to make it work in my truck. for XM you can get the stock unit and it should work fine.
