Hey guys, bad news. Went out to get in my truck earlier and it has a puddle off diesel fuel under it. I am going to look under the hood tomorrow when I have time and see where it is coming from(suspecting injector pump). I will be back looking for advice if it not a simple fixhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif.

...well, I looked around and found that my injector pump is covered in diesel fuel. Guess I will have to find a GM dealership over here to do the warranty work on the injector pump. Does anyone know if GM will reimburse you if you replace the injector pump at a non-GM repair facility?

You might want to try finding out where it is leaking. The electronic pumps don't usually leak when they go bad.

Did you check the hoses over?

I recently had 2 leaks on mine. One was an injector line that I replaced and the other was the shut off solenoid that was squirting fuel out of the top. When it's cold clean it off, then fire it up and see where your problem is before condemning the expensive pump. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

That cylindrical thing is the shut off solenoid that was leaking on mine. The newer design is much different and doesn't have a place to leak on top like the old one. It also has a bolt head instead of an allen and is easier to remove.
