Just to let you know, the high beam light's will fit in the fog lamps. (03&Up) Very bright,Works great no problem. If this has already been discovered then dissreguard.

I just want you to know that I did this and the housing of the fog lights was fine but the reflector portion in the housing on my truck turned blue from the heat. So I took the bulbs out and replaced them with an aftermarket white/blue light bulb that puts out more light without the wattage of high beam bulbs. Just FYI incase you decide to do this. Might want to monitor the reflector and housing. Good luck

The stock bulb is an 9140 12 volt 35 watt output. The stock high 9005 is 12 volt 60 watt output.

It will also probably melt the wiring and plug.

I have been running high beams in mine for over a year now with no problems. The reflector this is a little blue, but nothing to be concerned with. Stock bulb is a 9145, I was having problems finding those, so I just put the high beams in there since they were readily available.

Is there a new bezel that has a higher wattage bulb in it that we can buy and replace the stock one with?

I have them in my 2005. When I meet yo-yo's with their fog lights on in traffic (so long as no innocents behind them) I turn mine on to greet them. I get a LOT of high beams flashed at me when I do this. They are glary and bright enough stock let alone souped up...

Anyone know if the high beams in fog lights would work on an 2002??

High Beam bulbs do not work in the 02. The 02 uses the 880 not the 9145. You can replace the 27 Watt 880 bulb with a 37.5W 893 but it still doesn't get you close to the high beam brightness. There have been several discussions on this and I have yet to see a better solution. I am considering replacing the whole light assembly.

We have also not come up with a way to keep the fogs on when you go to brights in the 02. There are several ways to do a 4 on mod on the 03+ that keep the fogs on but nothing on the 02.

hmm, I already get flashed all of the time- hmm it would be nice to hit them with the real hi beams and also super bright fogs when they do... I like
