I put a Air Force one intake on my 04 that I got from truckperformace.com and it keeps giving me ses codes(Maf). After putting the stock box back on and clearing the codes problem went away. Has anyone else had this problem. I think its because the maf sensor is relocated at least 12inches away from the stock location. I really liked the way that new intake looked...

Sounds like your problem is the relocation of the mass air down stream compared to stock ... Others running the KN set-up had the same problem ...

I never had a M A F with my KN as I herd that a lot of the guys did, wonder what gives. I still use the KN tube but just put the UNI cone filter on it and still no flags. Best I shut up cause it will probably flag the next time out.

UNI doesn't make one that fits the AFE.. i'm a UNI dealer and i've checked as recent as last week.. they make some generic ones, but they don't fit very well (too long)..

Some that ran the KN setup that moved the Mass Air downstream didn't have any issues others weren't so lucky ....
I guess as it's been said before individualistic issues between trucks ...
