: We Need LB7 Trucks.
Trippin 10-21-2005, 01:47 AM In order to help out with the development of EFI Live, I need access to as many LB7 trucks as I can get. The reason is to look at all the different operating systems etc. This means I would hook up to your truck and download the existing code from your ECM.
If you live in the Santa Clarita or the San Fernando Valley, or are willing to travel to either please contact me via PM so we can make arrangments to get together.
I'm willing to offer a 5% discount on the purchase of the EFI Live software to those that assist us in this endeavor. (That's all I can offer publicly) :D
On Edit: I'm looking to download your stock tune. And if we happen to get together around lunch time I'll buy lunch as well! :D

Nope the speed limiter remover kind. :D
Let's see TTS has been able to do this for quite some time.
Nobody else (Quad, PPE, etc) has figured it out.
EFI Live gets a request and less than a week later they have a Beta file for testing.
Are you guys starting to get a feel for how this company operates? :D

Gruber 10-25-2005, 08:04 PM For those of you wondering the download was painless. Met Trippin in Burbank this afternoon and peeked over his shoulder as he was doing my truck. While he was at it he set my speed limiter a bit higher):h . It took about ten minutes. This whole thing is pretty cool and should really change things in diesel tuning. I'm a novice at computers but I think I should be able to handle downloading and uploading aspects of it while I can tell you straight up I won't be writing any of my own tunes. He even bought me lunch:ro) Thanks, Guy....
