I was reading in the no.3 Issue about this upgrade called a Green Filter. They had said in the article that it was one of the best mod. values of their project. Is this worth considering as a performance upgrade. Does anyone have any experience with this filter. I am thinking of buying it. Looks cheap........Waaaait a minute. I just got off their website and had to edit my post. They want $370 for a Green Filter for my truck. Noooot!

I read the same article and it moved me to buy a green filter. I bought the drop in filter for around 40 bucks on ebay. I dont know what to tell you, there may have been a very slight increase in performance, but if anything, it was slight and maybe even all in my head. I really don't see any difference between this and other filters though. Who knows. My honest opinion is that I think that they're all the same.

An "honest opinion" nearly void of placebo effect. Thank you!

Something else to consider, replacing with a filter that allows 5x the dirt to pass. Our delco element is hard to beat at (near) stock power levels.

Believe little you read from someone trying to just make money, with no test results.

I bought the "GREEN" drop in filter a year ago. $70. I had reservations about use'n it since they do tend to pass some dirt till they get "seasoned," But I drug it out last week and put it on and have picked up at least 1 MPG and the "rumor" that the "green stuff" doesn't "foul" the sensors like the red does was another plus. I think "by seat of the pants feel" that these filters wide'n the powerband somewhat also. It'll stay in there till the fuel prices feather down a BUNCH MORE!
