Yep. Blue had the Stuck Speedo at about 20,000mi.
It's a very common problem, as there were a bad batch of stepper motors that went into the trucks.
It's easy to replace the cluster. Don't know how many miles you have, but if you have to do it yourself, it's a 10 minute job.

The first thing you will notice is the needle going in "steps" of like 2 mph at a time. Then it will stick once, and go away, then it will keep getting worse and worse.
If I had a truck with 40k on it, I'd tell them it had been acting up for 10k miles, but I didn't know it was actually failing.

They would not replace mine for free. I went with an aftermarket cluster for the cool factor!

Hello all, Mine is starting to do this as well. My speedo and seemly the odo are becomming erratic. Question is, if it is repaired or replaced how is the mileage and hours accounted for, that is presently on the truck? Are there alternate sources to obtain these ( stored in the ECM, or elsewhere) if the the replacement is @ "0" miles, and "0" hours, or if I drive it for a while in this condition? Thanks ,

No recall on this?? What a bunch of crap. Mine went goofy about a month ago. $350 for a new cluster, if it's a known defect they should replace them without question. I'll wait a while longer to see if GM does anything.
