Hello,
I just bought a 2005 Sierra to replace my 2002 Silverado. I have the manual extendable camer mirrors from my 2002 that I want to put on my 2005. The 2005 has the mirrors with the built-in turn signal and I can't seem to find the plug to disconnect them. Could anybody let me know how to dis-connect the wirring on these so that I can remove them and replace with the extendable ones? Thanks.

on the newer trucks the plug is further down the inside of the door. Schefenacker makes a pigtail that will let you just plug em and go.

So, I have to remove the door panel to unplug them? The camper mirrors I have are manual, so I don't need the plug for anything, I just want to be able to go back to the facory ones if need be. Thanks again

Yes, the connector(s) are plugged in to the door module. You will need to remove the door panel.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure before I took the mirrors themselves apart or removed the door panels.

:p: take off your door panel and they plug in to the bottom of the window switches
