Truck threw a C.E.L. tonight and I am curious what I need to do as far as removing the edge attitude before I take it in to the stealer? What do I do about the hole in the manifold? Do I plug it or do I leave the pyrometer in and just disconnect it from the attitude?

I've been wondering the same thing. I live in the SF Bay area so I have some choices when it comes to repair work, but I'd like to know what to do with the pyrometer before taking it in for work anywhere.
I am planning to stop by the closest dealer to talk with the service manager about his policy on tuners before I buy one, but it probably won't stop me from installing one no matter what he says.
What do you guys do if you have to get work done while traveling?
