rdaniels 09-15-2003, 03:18 PM My 2003 2500HD owners manual lists a part number for a cab ar filter, but there is no reference to it in the text. I previously had a 2001 and it had a cab air filter under the dash. The 2003 is not the same. Is there a cab air filter? Dave Lewis 09-15-2003, 04:37 PM No! It was removed for the 2003 year. Wasn't that nice of them. From what I understand they were having to many complaints of poor heating and cooling as the result of not changing the filter, so they decided to remove it. 4x4man 09-15-2003, 05:23 PM Yup, another standard feature dropped by GM. There was a group of people on another page that were looking into whether or not the cavity was there for the filter. I can't remember where I read it, so I don't know the outcome...
