Where is the best place to get a blocker plate from? I have only seen them in one place. Also, are gaskets needed?

Thanks:)

Use the existing gasket. IIRC only one person around here sells them.

On my FE9 code truck I just unhooked EGR wiring harness and was told it stays normally closed, no codes so far and my milage went up .9 mpg higher than I have seen it so far with 4200mi. Seems a little more peppy too. Is this going to be ok or do I still need the plates
