i have seen 2 different models but dont know which ine is better and why.

Yes the KTC-SR9003 replaced the SR902. Its basically the same turner.. I think they changed parts manufactor thats all.

It works great! The only "issue" is when a song comes on with a long name, it doesn't always clear the previous data and what you have on the display is the remaining charaters from the last song. One simple press on the info button and problem solved until next time!

i see, yes i have the 6 disc. Hook me up with some pics of the sound gate working with the NAV unit. It might have me sold enough to cross over.

I have a non bose system with a factory touch nav unit. I installed the 903 sirius unit with a kenwood 6 dis changer . I used a PIE GM12pc-KNNSR to adapt to the factory nav. The problem is the cd loads and plays but I have no control of it,when I hit the button if fast fowards .

i hear that the PIE controler is not as good as the soundgate. who knows......what kind of control do you have over the sirius radio

I have a question for you guys with the Soundgate adapter. Does your radio still display XM1 and 2 when you are using Sirius? Mine does and it bugs me:mad: . I have the stock XM module unplugged behind the glove box. Why is it still showing XM?

I would like to know the fix for that also...

I bought the new Kenwood sirius radio model#3028 for my rig. Cant wait to install it. :):) I will have more pics of it soon i hope.

As far as xm1 xm2 on the PIE conn it stays the same. I have not call up sirius yet. still having problem with the cd player. Their it a help forum at pie.net still waiting for a reply

I want to see pics of these!!! I have an LS truck, just the stock work truck model, 1 disc player, AM/FM and clock jobby. tape deck too. I want to put in a good nav system and sirius radio before Jan 9th when Howard goes over. The unit you guys are going with sounds good. What would the whole system, installed, run? roughly? Sometimes, mine says Sirius 1 or Sirius 2. Other times I just have 1 and 2.

Your right I dont have Sirius hooked up yet.

Just a word to the wise. If your truck has Onstar you may need a special harness to be able to hear the other people when they call you or when you use Onstar. They can hear you with out it but you can't hear them. I know I needed to get one for my Kenwood radio when he did my truck and the harness ran me between $30 and $40. You might want to look into this before you get too crazy and buy it and install and then find out you need the harness to hear Onstar.

I can go back to the installer that installed it and find out what one and who he got it from and I can post the information then.

On the older ones the Onstar came into a different location one the radio then the regular car antenna. To use the Onstar I have to have the radio on Aux which doesn't bother me since it will tell me I have a call in the message center.

Sorry for the double post but here is what I found out. The part number is 70-2006 and I believe he said he got it from Metro or Metric I can't remember that but I spent $35 for it. He also told me that if anyone wants to order the harness or anything through him that he would be willing to have it shipped to you. Here is his information....

Dose anybody have sirius/ Kenwood with a nav unit.

I have a Sirius/kenwood without nav in my truck and love it. But I never knew there was one with nav. Oh well I don't really need it/can't afford it. I hardly ever leave town. I have been trying to figure out how to get to the Sirius part on the radio and can't seem to find it. Any ideas?

Don't use the pie interface Gm12/pc with NAV I cant get it to work. I have two of them and I can't get them to work on the nav. I put my ORG radio it works fine Sirius 1 and Sirius 2 let me know if that sound gate works.

That harnes wont work since I have a 2001 plus it isn't the factory CD player in the truck. It is a Kenwood Sirius unit but I do not remember the model #. I will look when I get home later tonight.
