I saw this and had to post it, not sure if this will apply to us. I have not had time to check it out just yet but looks to be worth a shot. Change gauge lights bulbs with LED bulbs found on www.superbrightleds.com (http://www.superbrightleds.com).

If this does work or if anyone has done this I would like to know the life on the bulbs.

You do know that you can't use LEDs for day-time running lights right? It even says that on thier site. LOL might be one of the reasons they burnt out? I've bought a few products from them and have had no problems!:ro)

:wtf: difference does it make for what there used for??? they were turned on and in less than a month the had multiple blubs going out! and i am sure that since i am changing the bulb in the drl location, that i am not using them for that reason any more!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the amber leds didnt hold up, plain and simple. i now have just regular amber bulbs now. in case you didnt know, i did that so i dont have to turn my parking light on when i drive around. yeah i am one of those guys that do that:D

Here are their exact words:
Do not use LED bulbs in the same housing with head lamps, the heat will cause them to fail quickly
Do not use LED bulbs in Day Time Running lights (DTR) in GM vehicles, for some reason all bulbs fail quickly in this application.
