Is this a beta unit? Sounds nice, any more info or testing with it, McRat? What is the rated hp?

It's a special tune you can get through PPE or PPE dealers. It might not work well without a 8 PSI min lift pump and shimming.

We are not talking a huge gain over the PPE Hot production version. It's to squeak out a couple more ponies.

As we find out more about the LLY engine, these "special" tunes might come in very handy.

McRat-- would twin KD Lift pumps supply enough PSI for the Hot +2 tune? Im thinking of upgrading my "regular" HOT tune...Ill have to call PPE to see if its possible to upgrade to it and not pay full price, considering I already paid a LOT for the PPE HOT.

They should upgrade it for free...I was gonna upgrade mine, but I'm lazy, and I couldn't bear to be without it for a whole 2 days.):h

Duratothemax,

My recollection is that my Kennedy twin pumps were about 8 PSI. I am using a billet pick up in the tank also. John has a cool guage you can put on the line. He said everyone should have one as you can really tell when you filter(s) are getting dirty. With the PPE HOT on 240, I never threw a 1093 since the pump install, so I think you'll be fine.

As far as we can tell ANY lift pump is going to do the trick that can keep the fuel pressure positive at the front of the CP3.

The Kennedy has been getting good reviews.
