I have looked through a lot of post on this site and the GM site and see the collective thoughts for upgrade programs seem to be Juice.. If I am ready for a program (ie. gauges, 4"banks monter exhaust, Afe air filter). My impression is that I don't need attitude if I go with juice 90.. But not sure if I really understand the 2 levels to run.. Tow/haul level 1or2 regular 3or 4..?? witch will be the best for any improved milage ?? Least detremental to over all longevity of my truck... I do pull a 10k 5er 1-2 times a year,, drive my truck daily to work.. also weekend farm chores pick up 1000 to 1200 lbs of feed in the bed.. How come I seldom see any info or comments re. Super chip?? seem less complicated to use.. Easy to instal/uninstall.. Does any boby have any experience with one? My concern re. Juice is the number of ISSUES people have had with them " Wait untill yourAllison learns""," My truck went into limp".. " Stalled pulling into traffic"".. "Fish bite".. Look at the edge forum and alot of.."Sounds like you have problem with your unit. Just send it back and we'll fix it"".. Makes me a little nervous about going the juice direction... any comments appreciated.. thanks in advancehttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

I have had the juice on my truck for 27,000 miles now. i have had almost no problems with it except excesive rear tire wear. i have the banks exhaust and love it. i got it for the sound, not to reduce EGT's thats just a bonus. im sure the 90 hp juice box wich can be picked up refurbished for pretty cheap now will suite you perfect. as others will say, you should prob have gauges. thats where the attitude comes in. it has built in gauges and will warn you if it gets to hot. i tow a 10k 5er as well and run it in level 2. tows like a dream, loves to cruise up hills in 5th at 75-80 no prob. by far the best, yet safe addition you can make to your truck. you cant go wrong.

Hot Juiced(v4.61 non-tude) for ~10,000mi without 1 single issue! No limps, no stalls, no fish bite, slight puff-o-smoke but only at the initial drop of the hammmer while set on level 4. If you are not sure what level to run in regular vs. tow haul why not get the Attitude and pick and choose on the fly, besides it includes a boost guage and EGT probe along with some other useful features. Send me an email if you would be interested in a good used unit.
The LLY has more power stock vs stock but I sure do miss my HJ! (And the grins that went with it.)http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

I have both. The Superchip is better than most people think, but still not quite the same power as the Juice. The 95 hp Superchip compares to Juice level 3. Superchip 55 hp (tow safe) compares very close to Juice level 2.
Superchip:
Pros: Cheap ($300), Code reader/ code clearer, good power
Cons: Have to reload program to change tune, torque doesn't come in as quickly as Juice
Juice/Attitude:
Pros: Excellent power, easy to change tunes, comes with guages
Cons: Expensive ($750), No code reader function, have to run wires for attitude and egt probe
Just my opinion.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

cdhd,
Great comparison! Does the superchips adjust for tire size, and remove top speed limiter?

http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gifThanks for the info.. It is my understanding that since I already have the gauges that the attitude would not be needed ...Esp if I didn't want to exceed the " 100 " hp over stock hp barrier that would require the tranmission upgrades???.. Again thanks for taking the time to give me your opinion.. I did order the juice todayhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif !!! from Mark at DPP.. I am looking forward to trying it out and hope I don't have any problems..
