Took forever and dropped the Cat and replaced it with a Banks downpipe.

So far is seems to have a little more pep, and EGT's are cooler. Too early to tell until I get a few more miles on it, but prior to this 1350 in lvl 4 hot juice was the ceiling, now they are about 1275ish. Id need a few more days playing to see if that remains true.

Looking in the Cat, it looks like 1/16 inch screen at the outlet. Definitely more restirctive than a 4 in Banks Pipe!

Is that a 4" from the turbo or from the flange at the buttom of the engine?

AFAIK all aftermarket exhaust start at the flange with the V-clamp. i don't believe anybody makes a larger downpipe from the turbo. dynomax was said to have had one a while ago, but it turned out to be incorrect.
