I own a 2005. I am considering buying a second hand Quadzilla Stealth programmer for a very reasonable price. I am very interested if anyone has had experience with this programmer. If so, what type of mileage improvement is seen in economy mode, is the power mode a significant improvement in performance and do I need to be concerned about EGT throughout the 6 settings?
Thank you.

I am totally satisfied with my Quad Stealth. After you get it call Quad and see if it has the latest updates, if not send it in and for $50 get the latest as they are sweet.
Being a power junkie I can't really say what the economy mode can do for mpg, but I get at least as good as everyone else on the DP and it seems a touch better than most.
Of course everyone will tell you to get gauges if you plan to tow with any big tune.
Does it make power? Ohhhhh yes. Don't even worry about that part. Knock out the speed limiter and correct for tires if you have them and go out and kick ass!

i just got one about 2 weeks ago and installed the 70hp tune and i am totally satisfied. truck runs great with excellent response. i can't tell you any exact mileage because i have 285 tires on truck and the dic was showing and average of 13.5 miles per gallon empty and now it's showing 18.5 miles per gallon once i recalibrated for tire size. i haven't hand calculated mileage yet. overall, very happy with it and the transmission relearned the extra hp very quick.:)

I had one for about 5 days I hated it, power gain was minimal, MPG was no different overall I think the quad sucks. That is only an opinion.

I tested one of the first high output Quad LLY units in the country. I liked it. Could find no faults, but I only ran it one hour.

The original I had was one of the first LLY tuners they made, I ran it in the 110hp setting for over a year. Never ever set a code. It came in way too hard at 1800rpm though, but I learned to live with it.
After McRat said in passing in another thread that they had a bigger tune for the LLY I sent mine in for update. They couldn't even believe there was one out there with such an old tune as mine. The new tunes are very very good, hardly any smoke at all now in the 110hp setting and very smooth. Now they have a 135hp setting as well, it creates a little less smoke than my old 110hp setting used to but is really smooth in applying the power.
I will say though that the old 110 setting was more of a flat punch tire ripper than the new 135 setting seems to be, but I wouldn't go back. I wouldn't mind another tune though that has the very bottom punch that my old 110 setting did combined with the big rush the new 135 turns in.
Any guesses as to which setting mine stays on?
