I have spent about a hour searching for any mention of this and could not find it. There are tons of posts about Lucas additives but none on their diesel truck oil.

Does anyone have any experience with the Lucas 15/40 High TBN truck oil. I know some over the road truckers run it. Many retailers around here handle their additives but only a truck stop near here handles the oil. Anyone run it in their Duramax?

Around here Amsoil is hard to find and has been talked about at some length. I personally think it would be a great option but I'm hoping for a discussion about the Lucas 15/40 Diesel engine oil. If it is good for over the road trucks, would it be a good option for a Duramax.

I say run it and then do some oil analysis to see if it's working for you or not. If it's CI-4 or better oil, it should be completely acceptable to use in your Dmax.

I've used a lot of lucas products, they allways have done what they say it will do. I've considered that oil, if it sold at other than truck-stops I would probably use it. The mark-up at those places is just to much. My analisis continually is good with Rotella-t and the price is right. So when Lucas shows up at wally world at a good price I'll try it!:exactly:

Check Napa. Around here all the Napa stores have started carrying the Lucas oil and tranny fluids.
