What Are You Guys With Suncoast Trannys Doing When You Go In For Sevice. Can They Tell By Looking At The Tranny That It Is A Suncoast or Wood They Have To Take It Out To Tell. And How About Tech 2 Will That Give Them Any Hints

Why would they look is the key ?? Your truck your tranny ,if you put a Suncoast kit in ,GM warranty over .....I would think You wouldn't be looking for any repair anyway or want anything done ...

My truck shifts like stock with the exception when the Triple TC locks, it's a tad firmer ...

If they were to Tech II diagnose your tranny things will look a bit different .... Again no need .... One has to remember a tech gets paid to repair not peek around ... The faster he gets yours done the faster he's on to the next one ...

I'm Not Saying I Would Bring It Them For Tranny Work If I Had Sun Coast. Just Normal Oil Changes, That For Me Are Free For Life. Just Don't Need A Big Red Flag Under My Truck When They Are Under It!

Thanks For The Reply MAC http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

Believe it or not It isn't that easy to detect on the outside even .... It's dark in most shops there isn't a whole bunch of the case that is exposed to see painted portion if a complete assembly was dropped in ...Except around the pump and bell housing area ... Hell I'd just say I painted it ,how you like me now Mr Goodwrench ...

You'd have to be pretty swift to detect that leaves out the oil change guy ... http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Embarrased.gif
